All about 2024 M2 Coupe

More Power Under the Hood: 480hp Beast

The updated BMW M2 comes equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six engine. BMW’s M division has enhanced the engine’s performance, increasing its power output by 20hp to a total of 480hp. Torque has been bumped up by 50Nm, reaching a peak of 600Nm between 2,650-6,130rpm.

This translates into a quicker sprint to 0-100kph in just 4 seconds with the standard 8-speed automatic transmission, while the 6-speed manual version clocks in at 4.2 seconds. For those craving more, the M Driver’s Package raises the electronically limited top speed from 250kph to 285kph.

Design Updates and Vibrant New Colors

The 2024 M2 retains its muscular stance with minor design tweaks. Notable updates include new color options:

  • Sao Paulo Yellow
  • Fire Red
  • Portimao Blue
  • Skyscraper Grey

Standard M wheels come with a double-spoke black finish (19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear). Buyers can also opt for a sleek silver finish.

Cutting-Edge Interior Enhancements

Inside, the M2 Coupe gets a refreshed cabin with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, available in Alcantara. A major upgrade comes in the form of BMW’s next-gen iDrive system, enhancing the digital interface and user experience.

Competition in India for 2024 M2 Coupe

In the Indian market, the BMW M2 stands out as a unique offering with no direct competitors. The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S hatchback, while similar in size and driving dynamics, falls short in power with 421hp compared to the M2’s 480hp.

Verdict

The 2024 BMW M2 Coupe is a perfect blend of raw power, advanced tech, and sleek aesthetics. Whether you’re an auto enthusiast or someone who values high-performance machines, the updated M2 is sure to impress.
