Simple Energy has introduced an update to its One electric scooter, enhancing its range and adding new features while keeping the price unchanged at Rs 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

Increased Range: Now 248km
One of the key updates in the Simple One electric scooter is its improved IDC-claimed range of 248km, up from the previous 212km. This boost is achieved through enhanced electronic efficiency and drivetrain optimization.
Battery and Performance
The Simple One continues to feature a 5kWh battery pack, split into two units:
- Fixed battery: 3.7kWh
- Portable battery: 1.3kWh
At 136kg, the Simple One is slightly on the heavier side among electric scooters, and its 796mm seat height makes it taller than many competitors.
New Features in the Update
The latest update introduces several new features, including:
- Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- Regenerative braking for better efficiency
- USB charging port for added convenience
Expansion Plans: More Showrooms and Service Stations
Currently, Simple Energy has a small network of 10 dealerships across India. However, the company aims to expand aggressively, with plans to launch 150 showrooms and 200 service stations by FY2026.
