TVS Motor Company has officially begun deliveries of its premium electric scooter, the TVS X. Launched in August 2023, the scooter is TVS’ most expensive electric model to date, priced at Rs 2.48 lakh. The first units have been delivered in Bengaluru, with nationwide deliveries set to follow in a phased manner.

The TVS X is built on TVS’ proprietary ‘born electric’ Xleton platform. It features an aluminium alloy frame, a telescopic fork in the front, and an offset rear monoshock for superior ride quality. The TVS X boasts a powerful permanent magnet mid-drive motor with ram-air cooling. It offers a continuous output of 7 kW and a peak output of 11 kW, along with 40 Nm peak torque.

- 0-60 kmph: 4.5 seconds
- Top speed: 105 kmph
The scooter is powered by a 4.44 kWh battery pack (3.8 kWh usable capacity) with nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) cells, delivering a claimed range of up to 140 km on a single charge.
Availability & Future Deliveries
Currently, TVS is delivering the X only in Bengaluru, with a gradual rollout planned for other cities. The company has yet to confirm specific timelines for availability across India.
