Oben Electric has announced plans to launch four new electric vehicles within the next 6 months, with prices expected to range from Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,50,000 (ex-showroom). Currently, the only model in their lineup is the Oben Rorr, priced at Rs 1,49,999 (ex-showroom, including EMPS 2024, the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). The Rorr features a 4.4kWh battery with a claimed IDC range of 187 km, charges from 0-80% in 2 hours, and offers a peak power output of 8kW, with a top speed of 100 kmph. The introduction of these new models will diversify Oben’s offerings and cater to various customer needs in the electric motorcycle market.
Dealership Expansion:
Oben Electric is set to expand its dealership network significantly, with plans to open over 60 new showrooms across more than 12 cities by the end of 2024. Recent additions to their dealership locations include new openings in New Delhi, Pune, Kochi, and Trivandrum.
